Brandon's Smile Ministry

To Whom It May Concern,

I would like to introduce you to Brandon’s Smile Ministry. Our existence is in the belief of giving a smile of faith, hope, and love by serving the spiritual and physical needs of others. Our first ministry is in addressing the needs of the homeless. We are providing special backpacks (B-Pax) equipped with physical and spiritual survival items such as a blanket, water bottle, hygiene kits, gloves, socks, maps of shelters as well as a Bible and other scriptural materials.

We have just begun our ministry and are currently applying for our Non-Profit status. With that said, we have already assembled 300 B-Pax and have helped distribute these Pax to many homeless men, women, and children. Along with an additional 400 Pax to be assembled, we would like to include sweatshirts with our next distribution. Our current need is for sizes XL and L. Other items that are collected for the B-Pax are:

Individual bars of soap

New razors (disposable)

Tooth-brushes (individually packaged)

Travel size tooth-paste

Travel size deodorant

Travel size bottles of lotions

Travel size bottles of shampoo

Adult new sweat shirts (all sizes needed)

Our goal is to collect all items by Tuesday, December 18th. We will also accept donations for gift boxes, wrapping paper, and ribbon. Any donations are appreciated, and arrangements for pick-up for any needed items can be made. We will be having a “Wrap” party Friday December 21st and all are welcome. We plan on delivering the assembled Pax to the homeless on Saturday, December 22nd at the corner of College St. and Phifer St. in uptown Charlotte.

If you have any questions about this ministry or how to donate items, please contact Tommy Hendley: (704) 684-1436 office (704) 591-0337 mobile, or you can visit our website at  www.brandonssmile.org

Please note, I will be unavailable by phone Friday, December 7th thru Saturday, December 15th; however, I will be checking email at brandonssmile@yahoo.com

By supporting Brandon’s Smile Ministry you are helping to serve the physical and spiritual needs of others. Thank you for your support and prayers. God blesses those who help others.

Blessings,

Tommy and Donna Hendley
